‘Edinburgh has a beauty to it, and an excitement. You get all four seasons in full force up here, and as someone who is reasonably seasonal, that was appealing and quite important to me. Edinburgh, for me, is a place to explore my early twenties and do the city living thing as someone who, growing up, was really averse to cities. It’s expansive but quite comfortable. The walkability is important to me, and there’s great public transport here, too.

Scotland is at the forefront of renewable energy, and Edinburgh specifically has so much creativity and love for the arts. The city brings together two of my greatest passions in one.

I stumbled upon Circus Lane for the first time by accident, at golden hour with my other half. That was a really fun memory.’
