‘For a long time, I used Edinburgh as a base. I worked as a tour guide and travelled in the off seasons. I lived in Guatemala for seven months, then Melbourne for seven months, and travelled around South America for another few months, as well.

When I was twenty-seven though, a friend of mine died and I kind of felt like I should be doing more with my life. Then the pandemic started, and that brought some things with my family to the fore. I realised that behind all the travelling was the fact that I didn’t want to face some truths in my life. So I moved to Edinburgh, and since then, I’ve been here permanently.
